Coming out October 5, 2017, it's a new book from SHOGYO-MUJOz
The "Eraser-Buddha Stamp" is a way of carving Buddhist statues and other Buddhist motifs on an eraser stamp and enjoying a Buddhist talk.
The theme of this time is “Greetings” and we will show you various examples of stamps on familiar goods and scenes in everyday life.
We give you a unique feeling with patterns and items that convey your feelings in different scenes.
When you express your greetings and feelings to someone, it will always be through your senses.
You may want to start by saying hello to your feelings and getting to know yourself.
When we touch the Buddha and look at ourselves, we realize that we are kept alive by many people, things, and phenomena, then we can honestly express our gratitude and congratulations with a heart of gratitude.
This book begins with the first chapter, "Greetings to Yourself," which is a greeting to your feelings and getting to know yourself.
The things you make are all things you want to wear every day, such as a diary, a bag, and a smart phone case.
In the second chapter, "Greetings to those around you," we greet those who are grateful for the gratitude and congratulations that arise from our hearts.
We can make single notes, wrapping items, New Year's cards and more.
This book covers how to start eraser stamps, tools, engraving, and stamping, as well as tips and hints for creating and applying your own original stamp.
Each "greeting" includes a gentle and soothing Dharma talk by the monk Asada.
You can enjoy the world of eraser stamps and experience the teachings of Buddhism at the same time.
